Can you believe that our little girl is four months old? Where did that time go? She had her check up this up this afternoon and she is 17lbs 15oz and a whopping 26 1/2 inches long. Still in the 99% of children her age! She is remarkable in her motor skills and the doctor said to watch out because she will most likely be early with everything as she is so strong. We are going to start her on sweet potatoes tonight to see how she likes the veggies....so, other than a diaper rash that turned into an infection, she got a glowing bill of health. We are so blessed!
Garrett continues to crack us up. On Monday I was taken to the hospital as I was sick and required 3 bags of IV fluids, and of course Garrett said that his tummy hurt and threw up at the hospital too. Then last night he said that his tummy hurt, so Jeff told him if he thought he was going to throw up to spit it in a bowl that we had here..so Garrett leaned over spit in the bowl and farted....then he said "Tummy all better!" SO FUNNY! Of course funnier yet was that when we got up on Tuesday morning Garrett wad rooting in the pantry looking for something to eat and he came down with a jar of frosting and said "mommy, Garrett eat frosting" I quickly explained that we do not have frosting for breakfast and after an hour I distracted him by telling him to ask his daddy when he came home if he could have frosting. So...the minute the garage door opened Garrett bolted up the stairs and was saying, "Daddy, Garrett eat frosting!!!" Jeff didn't understand what he was saying so Garrett brought the frosting to him and Jeff said, No I don't think that you need that and he looked over at me and said in a devastated voice, "Daddy said no!"...we got quite a laugh out of that! Gosh it is fun to have kids!
