Pee Wee lives on.....

Okay, so between Daddy, Uncle Ryan and Auntie Susie, Pee Wee won't go away at my house. Yesterday we went to Schueller Shoes in Burnsville to get Garrett's feet measured because he once again needs new shoes. Well, he goes right to the clearance section (that's my boy!) and finds a pair of 1950ish looking light tan dress shoes with a chunky heel and grabs it off the rack and run to Jeff and says "Pee Wee's shoes!!" He was so excited and I was so embarrassed. The manager working the store thought that it was hilarious. Yea, that is my two year old boy..he makes me so proud!

Aislinn is scooting around everywhere. Every day she gets further and further and more mobile. Her dad and I are getting sad that she is getting so big so fast. It is bittersweet. She is such a beautiful girl inside and out. Her favorite foods are carrots and peas. She has spit banana's and applesauce at me, so maybe there is hope that she will not be a sweet tooth like her brother.

Tomorrow morning the kids and I are going garage sale hunting before I go to work. Aislinn has outgrown many of the clothes that Auntie Shelley gave her and we are in dire straits for pajama's (she can't straighten her legs in the ones that she has now).

We also got to go and visit Great Grandma and Auntie Marce at the nursing home yesterday. Garrett and Aislinn made their mommy proud. They are so good to Great Grandma Marie. She can no longer see, but both kids were full of kisses and hugs for her. She cannot believe how big Aislinn is, but is just in love with her. Garrett of course knows where Grandma's stash of candy is and always gets a sucker. Grandma looks wonderful and it was great to see her smile. Auntie Marce works too hard and was in meetings, but had some time to brag the kids around!

Two things- glad to hear that your child can't straighten her legs in her pajama's either (Jude is the same way- we actually cut the feet out of the last ones for a quick fix); AND glad to hear that Garrett is still loving Pee Wee. That's my boy!
